Union/Association Lead
INTRODUCTION
(member’s name), how long have you been with union/association? Great! Did you attend the union/association meetings, specifically the one they talked about the program? Fantastic! Let me ask you, what motivated you to send the card back? OK, great…well that is why we are meeting right now.
Let me tell you a bit more about who we are. AIL, part of Globe Life is the only 100% unionized insurance company in the world and works with over 20,000 major unions and associations in North America. We handle their supplemental life insurance benefits because as I am sure you know, whenever you leave your job, you don’t get to take anything with you.
Unless you are a member of a group we work with, you have probably never heard of us, but I am sure you have heard of Air Canada, Loblaws, and Coca-Cola, right? Well, we are the company that works with the unions that represent their workers and we’ve been around for over 70 years!
REASONS FOR MEETING
Like it mentions in the letters, my job is to show you the benefits and answer any questions you may have. When I am done, we would like your opinion on the program by using our Google reviews (Share screen with Google review. Pick a good one hopefully with your name). As you can see, we currently have an Xstar rating from the families we have serviced. When we finish up, I will also ask you to leave a review for me!
They have me here for 2 main reasons:
First to activate and explain the no cost benefits you are entitled to.
Second, is to activate the permanent program they have designed to fill the gaps in your work coverage. Since these are permanent and portable, you will have to qualify for them, so not everyone that we see can have them. I just need you to listen and ask any questions you might have since we try to take care of everything today. That’s in fairness to all the other members waiting to be seen during your enrollment period.
Will Kit Lead
So, let me ask you, (their name), what was the reason that you decided to fill out the application online to get a Will and Testament Kit?
I’m sure you know that in (their province) you are subject to probate when you pass. Meaning that if there is no Will, your assets can go into probate for up to 2 years making it very difficult for your family to receive anything you want to leave behind.

So, our union members had great life insurance but no wills. So we partnered up with the Free Will Kit.com to make sure they had wills put in place and it was such a hit that we decided to open the wills up to the non-union community by putting ads out online to get our name out to the public and to help people as well.
So, we have created a 2-part program for you:
The first part of the program is the Will and Testament Kit. There is a workbook and a document book. I will walk you through how to fill that out.
The second part of the program if you qualify, is to walk you through the discounted funeral plans that our union members have been using to protect their families for the last 70 years.
We provide these wills as a no-cost service. We ask that if someone you know would benefit from our services, you would think of us first to refer them to us and at the end of our conversation if you know our services benefit you, that you would take advantage of them today. Sound good? All right, let’s walk you through the will.

One of the largest groups we work with is the International Union of Police Association, and they asked us if we could pass along our union-exclusive benefits to this community and that’s why we are here. To explain the Child Safe Kits, how they work, and we want to make sure that everyone in your community is aware of what to do if a child goes missing.
To help you qualify for the permanent union benefits.
Do you know the difference between your temporary benefits and your permanent benefits? What they mean by temporary is that everyone has benefits through work but when you leave your job, change careers, or retire your benefits go away. So, they have set up these permanent and portable benefits that work alongside what you have now and will be the only thing that stays after you leave your job or retire. You do have to qualify for these, but we will get to that in a bit.

(Name of sponsor) is a member in good standing with his (his Union, Association, or AIL) and was allowed to extend some exclusive benefits to his family members and those close to him. For over 70 years, AIL has provided personal service to union and association members like the Police, Firefighters, and Nurses and helped them qualify for their permanent benefits. I am sure you have heard they have some of the best benefits out there, right?
