A
Turtle head sign (baby’s head going back in)
Facial flushing

What classifies a bad deceleration of foetal HR?
A
Any that are after a contraction
If >60s, or >60bpm

What is show?
A
When the mucous plug comes out of the vagina. Sign of the start of labour.

How would you manage a lady at 33w gestation with PPROM?
A
Maternal steroids - 12mg betamethasone IM
Prophylactic Abx - erythromycin 250mg QDS for 10 days

How is IUGR picked up?
A
Slowed or reduced symphysis fundal height

What are Braxton Hicks abdominal pain?
A
Infrequent, irregular contractions. Late in pregnancy
