What are common multidisciplinary team members?
educational psychologist, counselors, speech & language pathologist,
occupational therapist,
nutritionist,
medical providers (pediatricians, PCPs, neurologists, etc.),
educators
other recommendations/classroom accommodations
-preferential seating near the front of the classroom
-patient may use a note card or marker to keep his/her place when reading
-patient needs to take frequent breaks (about every 20 mins) from near activities
-good lighting is especially important all near activities
patient should keep book or reading material approximately 14-16 inches away
-larger print would be helpful
-patient may need extra time to comprehend & complete visual activities
-it would be helpful to have the test questions read aloud to patient & allow patient to answer verbally
