Collectivistic culture
those where the individual’s goals are valued over those of
the collectivity
Individualistic culture
one in which the meanings of a communication message are
found in the situation and in the relationship of the communicators or are internalized
in the individual’s beliefs, values and norms.
High-context culture
one in which the meanings of a communication message are
stated clearly and explicitly, without depending on the context of the communication
situation.
Low-context culture
In general, ? often becomes puzzled and frustrated when
interacting with high-context individual. Also low-context individual are impatient
and irritated when high-context people insist on giving them information they feel
that they do not need.
