What is OCR?
Optical character recognition.
Method of capturing data where devices recognise characters by light sensing methods. OCR is now commonly used in flatbed scanners.
What is OMR?
Optical mark recognition
Is a form of mark sensing
Used for multiple choice exam papers

Used in new passports and in ouster cards to pay for travel
Animal identification
