What is data?
A
Data is raw facts and figures, a set of values or measurements or records of transactions. It has no useful meaning to a human user.

What is hardware?
A
Hardware is the name given to a physical component of the ICT system. E.g. Printer, MP3 player and hard disk drive.

What is software?
A
Software is the name given to computer programs. Without software computer hardware is no use.

A
Information is data which has been processed or converted to give it a meaning to a human.
