Inherited criminality is the idea that criminal behaviour is inherited genetically. Family history, twin and adoption studies can look to see if there is a genetic trend in the onset of criminal behaviours

A

(Point) Family studies are a good way of looking at genetic trends in criminal behaviour
(explain) because if criminality is a genetic component then psychologists may study family histories and look at trends in criminal convictions. There are a large number of studies support the suggestion that people born of a criminal parent run a higher risk of being a criminal themselves
