Gender socialization is a psychosocial explanation of criminal behaviour as is looks at the process of learning the social expectations and attitudes associated with one’s sex. Social psychologists explain through gender socialisation why human males and females behave in different ways: they learn different social roles. This has been linked to gender differences in criminal behaviour.
Paragraph 1 -
Gender differences in crime, according to official statistics males commit more crime than females. By their 40th birthday 1/3 males have convictions and only 1/10 for woman. Men are also responsible for about 4/5 recorded offences. females are more likely to be convicted of property crimes.
