Show, make, task. Show a phrase to the cast so they can copy/adapt it. Make a phrase for target dancers for others to copy/adapt. Set choreographic task for dancers to complete or pose problems for them to solve.

Latin for ‘below’, life beneath the city and ‘The Wasteland’ by T.S. Eliot.

Seeing below the surface of things.

12 dancers (6 male / 6 female)

I - Structure
Features solos, duets and ensembles.
I - Aural Setting
Electronic sounds and string melodies. Also features everyday sounds like train whistles and radio static.
I - Costume
All in black, fitted shorts and varying styles of tops (vests, t-shirts etc.) in varying dull colours (flesh, black, grey, white). One female dancer wears wrap around skirt and one male is shirtless with long trousers. Females wear pointe shoes.
I - Lighting
Different sections are represented by different coloured lighting. Dancers are also sometimes lit by 6 rectangles of light.

Black box set with nothing but an 18m LED screen across the back wall, projecting electronic figures walking.
