Q

Neutrophils vs monocytes

Who shows up to the inflammation party first?

A

Neutrophils first, 6 hours

Monocytes “stuck in traffic” 1-6 days

Both are phagocytes

They eat bad stuff and die(releasing acute phase reactants)
