How do they spread?
A
Water, food, air, contact, body fluids, animal vectors

What are the physical barriers which stop pathogens form entering the body?
A
The skin (blood clots and creates a scab, layer to block the open wound.) the respiratory system (mucus catches dust and bacteria)

What are chemical barriers?
A
The eyes ( eyes produce a chemical called lysozyme which kills bacteria.) The stomach ( if you eat food with pathogens most of them will be killed by the hydrochloric acid in the stomach.)

How are infectious diseases passed on?
A
Diseases are passed on by pathogens. These include bacteria, fugi and viruses.
