Nosocomial - contracted in healthcare facility i.e. MRSA
Sepsis - bodies response to infection, damages own tissue and organs

Transient - environmental, temporary, transfer easily, removed by hand hygiene.
Resident - deep in skin, difficult to remove, infects damaged skin.

Latrogenic - caused by medical treatment, pathogens on hands
Organisational - contaminated air, water, nurse:patio ratio, beds too close
What is PPE? Name 3 types
Personal Protective Equipment - single use
