-Distilled a spirit made of grains and molasses.

Indian Whisky Production
A
Much of the whisky is at least partially made with molasses-based neutral spirits.
The molasses-based “whiskies” are classified in India as “indian-made foreign liquor” (IMFL).
90% of the spirits consumed in India labeled as whiskiy are actually these molasses-based products.
IMFL can be flavored and blended with other spirits and are categorized in the EU as blended whisky and in the US as spirit whiskey.
