Incontinentia Pigmenti sketch:
A
- Picture NEMO from finding nemo to remind you of the NEMO gene on IKBKG (NK-kB essential modulator)
- Picture nemo with 4 stripes to remind you of the 4 stages:
- First stripe has Vesicular lesions (vesicles and bullae in linear arrangement on extremities, trunk and scalp)
Second stripe has Verrucous lesions(streaks of hyperkeratotic papules, pustules on extremities)
- Third stripe has Hyperpigmentation in blaschoid distribution
- Fourth stripe has Hypopigmentation replacing the previous hyperpigmentation
(Vesicular, Verrucous, Hyperpigmented, Hypopigmented, in that order)
- picture nemo’s eyes being covered by seaweed so that he cannot see anything because of the blindness that can occur (as well as strabismus and cataracts)
- picture Nemo’s teeth being absent/conical shaped to remind you of anodontia and conical teeth
- finally, remember that nemo is bald, as all fish are to remind you of alopecia
