What does the Equality Act 2010 set out
Replaced Disability Discrimination Acts 1995 and 2005
Places an obligation for the service provider to make reasonable adjustments to facilitate access for disabilities
What does the NPPF outline
Section 8 relates to the provision of healthy, inclusive and safe places. It emphasises that high quality, inclusive design is a key principle for sustainable development
What does approved document M of the building regs set out
it relates to ease of access and use of buildings including facilities for disabled visitors or occupants and the ability to move around the premises. It also provides specific guidance on ramps and stairs

This goes beyond minimum requirement of document M of the building regs. It provides guidance on lighting external areas
