What is unconcious bias
It is associations everyone has that is deeply ingrained outside of our conscious awareness. Having 2 proposals where everyone but 1 person prefers Proposal A the person that prefers proposal B could change their minds because everyone else prefers A
How do you prevent unconscious bias when recruiting
You can request to receive blind CV’s that does not have personal information on it for example DOB or names. Therefore making a decision based on the persons experience rather than potential assumed characteristics

what is MoU
It is the Memorandum of Understanding Action Plan. RICS and other built environment bodies have signed up to. It intends to create a more diverse and inclusive sector to become more representative of the society it serves.
