What are the differences between divisions and groups. How is sector used?
A division is used to break up the fire ground geographically
Groups are functional units such as EMS group.
Sector can be used in place of either one.
What is the function of a branch?
A branch is responsible for several sector officers and reduces the span of control on the IC
What is a small scale incident?
Those that do not require the assignment of branches or more than 2 sector officers.
What radio channel should be used when operating at structure fires or other large scale incidents?
WAXFD1 shall be used and ask dispatch to use WAXFD2 for all other calls in the city.

Thise that require the assignment of branches or more than 2 sector officers.
What radio channels should be used when working 2 incidents simultaneously?
First incident should use WAXFD1 while the second incident should use WAXFDBKUP (channel) while leaving dispatch to use WAXFD2 for other subsequent calls in the city
