imeptigo is spread through direct contact so PPE protections are used because it is highly contagious

what are nursing interventions to prevent spread of impetigo?

Answer 3

1. handwashing/good hand hygiene
2. topical bactericidal or triple antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin can be given
3. oral or parenteral antibiotics can also be given in severe cases
