- United States, black women face harsher prison sentences
- having a criminal record makes it 50% harder to find an job, but black women face this even more ( Crawford)
- police brutality is a huge issue for ethnic minorities - especially black people in the U.S , institutionalised racism results in harsher policing and less justice for black people, and often the death of innocent or even criminal black people
- According to a study by the Mapping Police Violence project, Black people are three times more likely to be killed by police than white people. In 2020, police killed 28 Black people per million population, compared to 10 white people per million population.
