Impact of crime on families Flashcards

Q
Adverse Childhood Experince
A
- Children who grew up around crime and or had a guardian who went to jail have an adverse childhood experience so are more likely than others to go to jail at some point. This is because they might have not had an adult to teach them about how to be a responsible citizen and also if they grew up around crime it may feel normalised and not that wrong
