Immunity Flashcards
Define a pathogen
Micro organisms which cause disease in a human
Define metabolic rate
The rate at which all chemical reactions in the body take place
What is anaemia?
This is a lack of iron (as far as you’re concerned)
What are diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2

What is the cause of type two diabetes mellitus is what?
Excess sugar intake, which damages the bodies ability to respond to insulin
What type of cells protect the body against pathogens?
