what is dial-up?
an older way of using the internet,uses your phone land line to connect which means you cannot receive calls while on the internet.
what is broadband ?
you are always connected to the internet allowing you to receive calls at the same time and not only do one of them.
what is cable ?
used in offices with large number of computers needing the internet at once
whats is wireless?
allows you to roam on the move, no cables,find hot-spots to receive wireless in certain area out and about
what is satellite?
when signals are beamed into orbit and beamed back to a satellite dish which allow you access to the web and internet
