Active immunity

A

-active: your immune system has to interact w/ something to make antibodies (i.e., vaccines–artificial, exposure to disease–natural)

-passive: transferring antibodies directly to another person (your body has to work) Ex: gamma globulin injection/infusion, pregnancy)
