LTVP+

Longer period of residency
 LTVP+ provides foreign spouses of
Singapore citizen who qualify, with greater certainty of stay in Singapore by granting the holder a longer period of residency – 3 years and up to 5 years for subsequent renewals.
Healthcare benefits
 LTVP+ holders will enjoy healthcare
subsidies for inpatient services at restructured hospitals, at a level close that for Permanent Residents.

Employment benefits
 It is easier for LTVP+ holders to seek
work, as prospective employers only need to apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) from MOM, instead of a work pass.
 LTVP+ holders who are issued with LOCs will not be counted against the foreign worker quota of their employers. Their employers are also not required to pay foreign workers’ levy for them.

LTVP
Parents accompanying a child studying in Singapore
 LTVP holders accompanying a child who
is studying in Singapore, are not allowed
to work during their first year here.
 This is to encourage them to spend more time with their child and help him or her
adjust to Singapore’s education system.
