Pen tool
Use to draw lines
Marquee:
rectangular, dotted line that surrounds the area you drag over.
Corner points
where the endpoints of 2 straight segments are united by a point
Average command
simple and effective choice for aligning points

anchor points created by clicking and dragging the pen tool
Direction points
handles at the end of the direction line to reshape the curve
To a name a view
click view menu, new view

applied to ends of stroked paths- round caps are more appealing

when 2 stroke paths from a corner point

Length of a point

or false stroke where there is no stroke- but N OBJECT BEHIND IT AND DISTORT IT TO LOOK LIKE A stroke
