Illuminate| Shadow Work Flashcards
What is an energy shield?
An energy shield is an energy force field that you can place around yourself for physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual protection.
What is an aura?
Our energy field is usually referred to as Aura, it includes our physical body and extends beyond it, forming an
egg-like shape around ourselves.
What causes our energy fields to become weak and easy to infultrate?
Trauma, lifestyle, and lack of awareness.
What are the four things that can infiltrate our aura/energy field?
Negative energies, toxicities, negative technologies, and negative polarized
entities.
What must we do to be the sovereign being we were meant to be?
Shield ourselves on a daily basis and don’t consent to infringements of our personal space and free will.
What are some tools we can use to aid in shielding our aura?
Lit candles, crystals, and singing bowls.
How do we shield our aura from negativity?
While meditating, visualize a bubble of Source-love-light energy that comes from the source through the crown of your head down into your heart and emanates from your heart all around yourself, sealing your energy field.
What can we expand our source of love-light energy to protect?
Your home, belongings, children, pets, businesses, social media platforms, and everything you create.
Name the sacred elements that can be used to add layers of protection.
The elements are innumerable, but some are the Merkabah, the lotus flower, and energy fire.
Ask your higher-self to show you the best elements and alchemy symbols for you, also ask your benevolent soul family guides to place their shields around you to make it even stronger.
What must we do after placing layers of energy shields to protect our energy?
Set your intention usings your own words.
Here is an example:
“For my highest good, without harming anyone, I shall be free from harm physically, mentally, emotionally
and spiritually all day and night. I’m setting an intent that no negative energies, entities, technologies, people or A.I. and all that means harm, cannot infringe upon this thought-form and intent”
This energy is very powerful, so make sure you always state without harming anyone and/or without overstepping any boundaries. If you live with other people that are not your spouse and kids, you can shield your own personal space but you cannot shield theirs since they have their own free will.
What are defense mechanisms?
Defense mechanisms are behaviors we have developed to protect ourselves rooted in past traumas.
What happens if we fail to heal our past traumas and dissolve our defense mechanisms?
Unconsciously we will keep attracting people and situations that will re-wound and re-traumatize us in similar ways that we were traumatized as a child.
It’s important to become aware of your defense mechanisms because they show up unexpectedly and they can sabotage your life, the way you see things, your communication, your relationships and so on…
How do we heal our past traumas and dissolve our defense mechanisms?
Identify and find the root of your defense mechanisms.
When you learn how to identify your defense mechanisms and find the root of them, you are able stop yourself, take deep breaths, see the truth of the situation and respond from a centered place instead of unconsciously reacting.
NOTE: These defense mechanisms are not who you are in essence, those are the defenses that your ego uses to
protect itself when is feeling triggered or unsafe.
