As long as trends keep happening, the industry will continue to make money by slapping health claims on boxes.

Describe how nutritionism and health claims are leaving whole foods ‘out in the cold’.

Health claims give a ‘voice’ to processed/packaged foods. Whole foods (foods in the produce section), sit silently and unnoticed to some people because there is nothing to ‘claim’ their nutrition.
