what is Ritzer’s theory
-McDonaldisation ; world = mcdonald’s and companies operate low skilled jobs and everything is efficient and predictable
-Coca-colonisation ; transnational corporations dominate the world like old empires
how can Ritzer be criticised
-Mcdonald’s shows how globalisation is not about homogenisation and neo colonialism as Mcdonald’s menus differ around the world eg Japan rice burgers and African falafel burgers
