Ground : on engine start if ENG or ALL is selected in the MCDU
Wing is same but comes on after reaching 40kts wheel speed after de ice falls off.

Auto controls wings and cowls automatically.
when ice is no longer detected the anti ice stays on for an additional 2 minutes.

what does A-I Wing VLV OPEN mean?
the Anti ice system is doing a self test climbing through 10k feet or ten minutes after takeoff.
what if wing A/I is in use and engine bleed SOV is stuck closed
XBleed will open automatically and both wings can be heated from one engine.
