ICD-10 Flashcards
1
Q
ICD-10 Reliability
A
S Ponisovsky (2016) found the PPV (chance of receiving same diagnosis when reassessed) scores increased by 26% for SZ compared to ICD-9
Galeazzi (2004) 2 clinicians assessed 100 clients. Kappa values ranged from 0.69-0.97 (very good)
Weakness
Low PPV in some cases, like childhood disorders, 56%. This suggests that ICD-10 may not be reliable for some diagnosis
2
