Features-
Low pth,low serum ca, raised serum phosphate,normal ALP
muscle spasms,fits,stridor,diarrhea
Common in premature infants

Causes-
DiGeorge syndrome (associated with thymic aplasia,defective immunity,cardiac defects,facial abnormalities) in infants
Autoimmune disorder associated sith addisons in older children
Surgical removal or damage to blood supply

Features-
Low ca high po43- but high or N PTH hormone 
Short
Obesity 
Subcut nodules 
Short 4th metacarpals
Learning difficulties 
Cataract 
Teeth enamel hypoplasia
Calcification of basal ganglia (gait like in parkinsons)
