A
- Skin, hair, and nails are THINNER
- Fatigue
- Difficulty carrying out ADL’s

Contraindications for HF hx
A
- Propranolol (B-blokers)
- Verapamil
Should not be given w/ hx of HF because it can make it worse

- Inadequate nutrition
- Disease education
- Hyperthermia
- Decreased cardiac output –arrhythmias

- Monitor Fluid and electrolyte status
- Decrease body Temp
- Give all ordered medications to reduce HR and arrhythmias
