Q

Describe type III hypersensitivity

A
  • Anitgen-antibody/immune complex formation
  • Deposition in tissues
  • Activates phagocytes, causing damage
  • “Self-reactive” B/T-cells circulate

6
Q

In type III hypersensitivity what is deposited in tissues and why does it cause damage
