1st line - involves family and school support workers
- parent education groups
- consistent discipline and parenting input
- use of reward systems and clear boundaries

1st line - methylphenidate (stimulant)
- stimulant medication - increases activity in areas that increase concentration and focus
- can be short/long acting

- anorexia, nausea
- drowsiness
- anxiety, mood disruption

2nd line - atomoxetine (non stimulant)
