What’s the difference between RFQ and RFP?
A
RFQ - is a request for qualifications it can be precursor to a full RFP, project owners may filter out architecture firms to which they may send an RFP .
RFP - Request For Proposal - owners provide scope of work and other important information about the project, there is more to a successful RFP than just having the lowest price, takes a lot of administration time
Firm need to qualify; firms should ask themselves if it’s worth their time to pursue/able to risk

- Client reputation
- Is it a project the firm does
- chances of winning
