Low system pressure
Low reservoir quantity

What causes a hydraulic demand pump PRESS light to illuminate?
Pump selector in AUX or OFF
Pump commanded to operate and output pressure is low
What does placing the hydraulic demand pump selector to AUTO, ON, and OFF do?
AUTO: Pump operates when EDP pressure is low or respective fuel control switch is in cutoff. Pumps 1 and 4 operate when trailing edge flaps in transit and while flaps are extended past 1.
ON: Demand Pump Operates
OFF: Demand and AUX pump off
What is the power source for the hydraulic demand pumps?
1 and 4: Pneumatic, bleed air.
2 and 3: Electric
AUX: AC Power, Ground Handling Bus
What happens when the #4 hydraulic demand pump is turned to AUX?
AUX pump operates on the ground until engine pump pressurizes. Demand pump is off.
What causes the PRESS light to illuminate in the engine hydraulic pump switch?
Low engine hydraulic pump pressure
What happens when the engine driven hydraulic pump switch is turned on?
Engine driven pump is pressurized and provides pressure to the system when the engine is spinning
