HYD G RSVR LO AIR PR Flashcards
Triggering conditions:
When the hydraulic reservoir air pressure is equal to or less than 22psi.
The alert resets when the reservoir air pressure is equal to or greater than 25psi
If pressure fluctuates:
PTU OFF
GREEN ENGINE 1 PUMP OFF
ASSOCIATED PROCEDURES
G SYS LO PR
Fuel consumpt incr
-Triggered by a change in the nominal aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft.
FMS predictions unreliable
-Disregard FMS fuel predictions and refer to QRH/PER-B for fuel penalty tables.
STS
APPROACH PROCEDURES.
The probability of cavitation increases with altitude, therefore descending to a lower altitude may:
Reset the system.
APPROACH PROCEDURES:
G Eng 1 Pump ON
* *If HYD not recovered - L/G Grvty Extn - Ldg dist proc apply
Fuel consumpt incr
FMS predictions unreliable
Altn Y brake with A/skid
-Braking uses this mode when green system
pressure is insufficient and:
-Yellow hydraulic pressure is available
-A/SKID, N/W STRG switch is on
-The parking brake is not on.
Slats/Flaps Slow
CAT 3 single only
STS
INOP SYSTEMS:
Green HYD SPLR 1 and 5 CAT 3 Dual Autobrake Normal brake L/G retract Reverser 1 (hydraulically actuated via G SYS) Yaw damper 1 (FAC 1 uses G SYS pressure)
