Jesus humbled Himself so that he could redeem us from our sins as a human.

When Jesus descended into hell.
Why did Jesus descend into hell?
To show Satan and the demons that He truly was the victor.
What does Jesus’ resurrection assure us of?
- He is God’s Son
- He is our Redeemer
- He will raise us on the Last Day.
What does Jesus’ ascension assure us of?
He is our Redeemer and there is a place we will be with Him forever.
What does it mean that Jesus is at the right hand of God?
He is ruling over all things for the good fo the church.
How does Jesus still work as a prophet today?
By sending out believers to preach the good news to all.
How does Jesus still serve as High Priest today?
He continues to plead our case before God.
How does Jesus still function as King today?
He protects us from our enemies in order to bring us home to heaven.
When will Judgment Day be?
Nobody knows but God.
When should we prepare for Judgment Day?
Always
How are we prepared for Judgment Day?
Be continuing to believe in Jesus as we listen to the Word and receive the sacrament.
