What is a biome?
A
a large area with specific characteristics of vegetation, wildlife, climate, and soil.

- Desert
- Aquatic
- Forest
- Tundra
- Grassland

Desert
A
- Very hot during the day at over 40° C but very cold after sunset at 0° C.
- A very little amount of rainfall of <50 cm of rainfall per year

Tropic Forests
A
Warm and humid, are found close to the equator and have high rainfall and temperatures.

Grasslands
A
- Dominated by grass and have a warm, dry climate
- Receives a low amount of rainfall as a result of having no trees or shrubs

where all living organisms including plants, insects and animals live
