he wan’t intrested in what could go wrong with people , he was interested in what could go right with them
what did Maslow’s heirachy emphasise?
personal growth and fulfilment
what is the heiracy of needs?
basic physiological needs at the bottom and the most advanced needs at the top.
each level must be fulfilled before a person can be moved up the pyramid
Maslow believed the more basic the need , the more powerfully it is experienced and the harder it is to ignore
what is self actualisation?
highest level
those who reached this level tended to have certain shared qualities such as creativity ,accepting of other people and an accurate perception of those around them. Maslow believed people experienced self actualisation through peak experiences.These are moments of extreme inspiration and ecstasy ,where all doubt and fear are left behind .
