What is the path sperm cells take from testes to exiting the penis?
A
- Testosterone released [hormone that has to do with male reproduction. A steroid hormone]
- Sperm is made in testicles
- It is stored in epididymis
- It travels through a pipe called the vas deferens
- It is nurtured by a sweet chemical in the seminal vesicles
- Then nurtured by another chemical in the prostate gland
- It goes through the Cowper’s gland and is added a liquid to make it semen
- When there is an erection (where the penis hardens due to blood rushing in), semen travels through the urethra
- An ejaculation is when the semen comes out
