A

There will be a general right to privacy so people wont have to rely on Privacy Commissioners, people will be able to take their own actions

How effective is the act?

A

Somewhat effective. Not as strong as a Bill of Rights. Many rights listed, increaces privacy, protection and backing, but only against government organisations. Also gives a lot of power to judges (bias judgement)
