Human rights
The things every person, as a human being, is allowed to do or receive by law simply because of being human.
diversity
difference, variety, like different languages, different cultural practices, different religions and ethnic backgrounds, etc.
discrimination
unfair treatment based on a perceived or real difference
violation of rights
the abuse or taking away of a person’s rights

The action of: recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons.
By means of: threat or use of force, coercion, abduction, fraud, abuse of power or giving payments to the person in control of the victim.
For the purpose of: exploitation (which includes sexual exploitation, forced labour, removal of organs or any other similar practices)

SEXUAL ORIENTATION
Sexual and romantic attraction.
GENDER IDENTITY
Our deeply felt internal experience of our own gender.
GENDER EXPRESSION
How we show our gender through our clothing, hair, behaviour etc.
TRANSITION
The process of changing gender expression to match gender identity.
BISEXUAL
Someone attracted to more than one gender.
GAY
Someone attracted to people of same gender.
LESBIAN
A woman atrracted to other women.
HETEROSEXUAL/”STRAIGHT”
Someone attracted to people of a different gender.
TRANSGENDER
People whose gender identity differs from the sex they were given at birth.
NON-BINARY
People whose gender identity is not exclusively male or female.
INTERSEX
People born with variations in their sexual anatomy or hormonal patterns which are not seen as fitting in with typical male/female bodies.
