Toxic masculinity

A

Toxic masculinity is the socially constructed idea of what it means to be a man, but is in reality an exaggeration of masculine qualities, such as being tough, being violent or suppressing emotions, that can be extremely harmful to both the individual and society as a whole. It is when certain masculine qualities are glorified by society, but are in reality harmful.
