They are conducted by an ARM (Annual Review meeting). They are conducted every 6 months and check if employees have any problems like thinking if their is monotonous and boring.

They conduct a number of mock interviews and found out how they can help someone becoming redundant.

No they are different because of rewards. Shell uses an enterprise bargaining agreement between unions and management of each refineries. Most organisations however work under a award.
