the egg travels down the oviduct to the uterus aka womb

the cervix is the opening at the bottom of the uterus leading to the vagina

the external opening and where the penis enters during sex
once an egg is fertilised by a sperm what is the egg then called
the fertilised egg is now called a zygote
what does the zygote cell start to then do
the zygote cells then start to divide to form a ball of cells
once a ball of cells have formed what is it called
its called an embryo
what does the embryo do
the embryo then sticks into the lining of the uterus
what does the placenta form between
the placenta forms between the embryo and the wall of the uterus
what is the umbilical cord
the umbilical cord is a thick knot of blood vessels
