what we did?
A
- Land use survey of the different uses within Waymouth
- Pedestrian count - number of people walking on the promenade
- vehicle count - counted number of vehicles to drive by in 2 minutes
- Questionnaire - asked people their opinions of the town and whether or not they thought the sea defences were working or not

what we found out?
A
- the land use closer to the town was more popular that further away
- there were more empty shops further away from the town centre with more popular brands right in the centre
- There were more houses further to the edge of the town than in the town centre
- More chain stores in the centre compared to the edges of the town

limitations- what issues did you face?
A
- Pedestrians kept on getting in the way when trying to collect data

limitations- if you did it again what would you do different?
A
- Go over a week period several times in a year to be able to get the most accurate results possible.
