creating an environment where:

define: HDI
- Tool developed by the UN to measure/rank countries’ levels of social/economic development
- Provides a single statistic based on three dimensions – health, education and living standards, and four indicators – life expectancy at birth, mean years of schooling, expected years of schooling and gross national income per capita.

define: mean vs expected years of schooling
o Mean years of schooling: average no. years od education achieved by those aged 25 and older.
o Expected years of schooling: no. years of education expected for a child of school entrance age.
