What is going on when you see: RAIM in amber on your PFD + PREDICT LPV UNAVAIL on EDCU during LPV Approach? & What should you do when you get an additional FMS DGR message?
- Dual GNSS sensor with RAIM or SBAS Integrity degraded during LPV approach.
- When FMS DGR also appears - Press GA and carry out published Missed Approach procedure - Revert to Radio Navigation.
What is going on when you see: MSG ON PFD + GNSS RAIM ABOVE LIMIT ON EDCU?
1(2) GNSS affected by RAIM Integrity Failure Loss of GNSS redundancy - Continue Approach.
What is going on when you see: MSG ON PFD + 1(2) SBAS PA FAIL ON EDCU?
SBAS PA mode in Standby Loss of GNSS redundancy - Continue Approach.
Note:
The GNSS sensor performs the integrity check of SBAS positioning every 4 seconds. The GNSS may automatically return to SBAS PA mode if the anomaly is removed.
What is going on when you see: MSG ON PFD + SBAS PA FAIL ON EDCU?
- Loss of SBAS PA mode of both GNSS sensors.
If Baro-VNAV minima NOT available.
Loss of FMS Lateral and Vertical Deviations.
LPV in green will turn LPV in amber on your PFD.
AFCS approach modes will automatically disengage. - Climb to MSA and carry out the published Missed Approach procedure.
If Baro-VNAV minima available:
FMS Lateral and Vertical deviations automatically
revert to LNAV/VNAV and Baro- VNAV.
LPV in green is replaced by VGP in green on PFD.
AFCS approach modes automatically disengage.
IF below 1000 ft AGL:
- Climb to MSA and carry out the published Missed Approach procedure.
If above 1000 ft AGL:
- Press APP or DCL as required to continue approach in coupled mode.
