A
- PILOT UTILITY LIGHT — ON (for night operations).
- GEN 1 & 2 switches — Select RESET and confirm ON.

- Affected engine — Check oil pressure and
temperature on PFD/MFD.

- AFCS UPPER modes — Disengage.
- Flight condition — Achieve safe OEI.

- FUEL SOV (EDCU FUEL page) — Confirm and CLOSE.

Eng Bay Fire - In Flight
A
- Confirm ENGINE FIRE light ON on engine control panel.
- Flight condition — Safe OEI.
- Affected ENG MODE knob — Confirm and IDLE.
- Engine FIRE — Confirm.
- Affected ENG MODE knob — Confirm and OFF.
- Affected ENG FIRE ARM pushbutton — Confirm, lift guard and press - ARM illuminated.
- FIRE EXTING switch — Set to BTL 1.
1 FIRE BTL LOW P caution illuminates after bottle has discharged

Eng Bay Fire - On Ground
A
- Confirm ENGINE FIRE light ON on engine control panel
- ENG 1 & 2 MODE knob — OFF.
- Affected ENG FIRE ARM pushbutton — Lift guard and press - ARM illuminated.
- FIRE EXTING switch — Set to BTL 1.
1 FIRE BTL LOW P caution illuminates after bottle has discharged

Bag Bay Fire - In Flight
A
- ECS — BCKUP.
- COCKPIT / CABIN FAN — OFF.
- Use on board hand held extinguisher to fight fire.
IF the fire source is NOT determined and/or the fire persists - - LAND IMMEDIATELY

Electrical Fire/Smoke - In Flight
A
- Airspeed — Reduce to Vy.
- Landing gear — DOWN; three green lights illuminated
on LDG control panel. - ECS — BCKUP.
- COCKPIT / CABIN FAN — OFF.
- Pilot DV windows — Open to ventilate.
- COM/NAV — Select VHF 1 on right side to ensure continue radio communication.
- PILOT UTILITY LIGHT — ON (for night operations).
- Land as soon as possible

Wheel Brake Fire
A
- Landing gear — Extend.
- Aircraft — Land as soon as possible.
On Ground Do not brake.
When aircraft is stationary:
- Shutdown - Carry out EMERGENCY GROUND EGRESS procedure.
Note: Consider using one of the cabin hand fire extinguishers or other available extinguishers to extinguish the fire.

- Collective — Adjust to increase the rotor
speed.
